Indian Army Recruitment 2016
Indian Army recruitment 2016 has advertised a notification inviting applications from the Indian male eligible candidates for the Soldier Technical posts, Soldier Clerk Posts, Soldier General duty posts and Soldier Tradesman posts.
(1) Important Dates for Indian Army Recruitment 2016:
Starting Date for Submission of Online Application – 8th November 2016
Last Date for Submission of Online Application – 22nd December 2016
Date of Recruitment Rally – 7th January to 16th January 2017 Reporting time – 04:00 AM to 07:00 AM
Date of Common Entrance Exam for medically fit candidates – 26th February 2017
(2) Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army Recruitment 2016:
1. Soldier General Duty– . Only those candidates are eligible who have a 10th pass with minimum 45% aggregate marks and 33% marks in each subject.
2. Soldier Technical-. Only those candidates are eligible who have a 12th pass in science with physics, chemistry with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject
3. Soldier Clerk-First class 12th marks will be considered for eligibility. If the candidates have secured 40%in each subject and 50%in aggregate, then he is eligible
4. Soldier Tradesmen-. Only those candidates are eligible who have a 10th simple pass & 8th simple pass (for Mess Keeper& House Keeper only)
(3) Age Limit for Indian Army Recruitment 2016:
Soldier General Duty : Candidates age limit should be between 18 – 21 years as on 1st October 2016.
Soldier Technical & Soldier Clerk/SKT & Soldier Tradesmen : Candidates age limit should be between 18 – 23 years as on 1st October 2016.

(5) Salary:
Payband – Rs. 5200-20200/-
Grade Pay – Rs. 1800/-
Military service Pay – Rs. 2000/-
X group(technical posts) pay – Rs. 1400/-
(6) Selection Procedure for Indian Army Recruitment 2016:
Candidates will firstly be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the physical fitness tests and medical examination and then the selected candidates will be called for the Common Entrance exam to be held in Cuttack and final selection will be done on the basis of that.
